The Legends-600 gained popularity as early as 1993, filling the need for cheaper race cars with low maintenance costs. Since then, more than 800 cars have been produced. In Russia, the cars were imported in 2008, and the ADM Raceway became their base.

Racing on Legends took root in Russia, and the series was named Legends Russian Series.
