Mourning at Artline. Blessed memory of Sergei Vladimirovich Piskunov

Terrible and sad news.
Today, 10/25/2021, Sergei Vladimirovich Piskunov passed away.

The great Design Engineer, one of the founders and inspirers of our Team, he has always been an integral part of the Art-Line family. A year and a half ago, our design bureau began to bear his name.

Sergei Vladimirovich, being selflessly devoted to autorsport, has brought up several generations of first-class engineers, sharing unique knowledge and helping to reveal the talents of young guys.

As the best domestic racing engineer, he led a huge number of racers to victories both in serial formulas and in cars of his design.
He worked with such famous athletes as Stanislav Borisovich Hess de Calvet, Edgard Lindgren, Alexander Potekhin, Alexander Nesterov, Fabio Babini, Maurizio Mediani, Victor Kazankov, Enrico Takachello, Vitaly Petrov, Victor Shaitar, Mikhail Aleshin, Sergey Chukanov and many others.

Under his leadership, the Design Bureau LSA MADI, and then KB Art-Line, released cars: Gardarika, Astrada, Arttech-F1605, Arttech F28, Arttech F24, Formula Vostok, MARTT, Legends Evolution.

The pinnacle of the ingenious design thought and skill of Sergei Vladimirovich was the Arttech P-315 Formula-3 car built according to his project in 2015.
Throughout the history of the USSR and post-Soviet Russia, this car is still the only domestic car of this class fully certified by the FIA ​​and took part in the Formula 3 Euroseries in 2015.

The bright memory of Sergei Vladimirovich will forever remain in our hearts and in the machines he created.
