Legends on the Smolensk Ring.

Continuing to recall the main events of the past first stage of the Russian Cup SMP RCRS, we will not ignore the spectacular, intense rivalry in the Legends-600 class.

Race 1 started with 6 cars lined up on the starting grid, each driver determined to win. That very first turn was indicative - Roman Averyanov, in an attempt to get ahead, put on a real extreme show for the spectators. Numerous contacts, like a chain reaction, and the result - three retirements, including himself. Sergey Lapitsky retained the class leadership, and thanks to the retirements of faster rivals, he also became third in the overall standings.

In Race 2, Yuri Ryazantsev was first at the start, followed by Vladimir Gorlach (who had managed to recover after his retirement in the first race). Then there was a very beautiful battle, during which Sergey Lapitsky again pulled ahead, and Daniil Zubenkov came in second, snatching this position from Yuri Ryazantsev.

This is the kind of intense and interesting fight that has developed among the pilots of the Legends-600 cars, with whom we will also now meet on May 25 at the 1st stage of the Moscow Region Championship at ADM Raceway.

Получили они свою популярность еще в 1993 году, закрывая потребность в более дешевых гоночных автомобилях с небольшими затратами на техническое обслуживание. С тех пор было выпущено более 800 автомобилей. В Россию же машины были ввезены в 2008 году, а их базой стал автодром ADM Raceway.

Серия получила название Legends Russian Series. За счет относительной простоты в управлении и доступности испытать адреналин каждому любителю скорости, она получила внимание пилотов, а внешний вид автомобилей и яркие выступления привлекли любовь зрителей.
