Traditionally motorsport transfers the scientific and technical solutions to automotive industry. 

However some allied industries use achievements of racing design engineers quite often.

A number of the original technical decisions which are already executed by ArtLine's Design Bureau  in the previous formula cars models didn't rise the world science to cardinally new level still, but laborious long-term work yields good results.

Modern ARTTech chassis represent the best technical achievements of today, and we hope that once we will be able to offer people some useful knowledge for the future.

Together with the large Russian producer of carbon fiber, ArtLine began creation of industrial production of monocoques and other details from the composite materials reinforced by carbon fiber in Moscow, bringing thus to the country the rare modern and useful technology applicable also in aircraft industry, shipbuilding, military industrial complex, medicine, etc.

Motorsport in general is in vanguard of advanced technologies. Racing classes are various and in everyone the valuable scientific thought can be born.

For those who glanced into this section (further text is not about Art Line, but collected examples of a transfer of technologies from motorsport to "civil" branches) the following facts can be interesting:

In Formula 1, for example, original technical solutions that conducts to huge progress of both racing and road cars are born constantly. 
The most known example of the serial technology for the first time presented in the World Cup can be considered the Traction Control System (TCS). For the first time the system was presented by Ferrari team in 1990. Then after TCS ban in 1994 season, the technology was gradually taken by road cars manufacturers to serial cars.

Here are some impressive facts about Le Mans Series' engineering and cars which achieved the success in races and also affected the automobile industry in general.

1. 1926 - a fog-light - Lorraine Dietrich)

2. 1937 - an aerodynamic body with the wheels hidden in arches (development of aerodynamics in automobile branch) - Chenard & Walcker Tank

3. 1953 - disk brakes of all four wheels (before disk brakes were usually used in planes) - Jaguar C-type

4. 1963 - the gas-turbine power plant - The Rover B.R.M.

5. 1974-1976 - a turbo-supercharging - Porsche 911 RSR and 936

6. 1982 - innovative back "a whale fin" which combined a vertical edge and a rear wing in the form of a tail (now similar "fin" is used on the majority of LMP1 cars) - Sauber SHS C6

7. 1991 - the rotor and piston engine - Chevron-Mazda (Mazda 787B)

8. 1998 - the hybrid power plant (14 years of Audi R18 e-tron quattro later I could win, using the kinetic energy reserved not in electric accumulators, and in the rotating flywheel from the Williams F1 company)

9. 2006 - The diesel V12 engine - Audi R10

10. 2015 - the main premiere of Le Mans - Nissan GT-R LM Nismo – the 1250 h.p. front engine 4 WD sport prototype. Forward wheels are rotated by the 500 h.p. petrol motor, and back as also fronts in case of need, are driven by the flywheel connected via driveshafts with both axes.

 

Generally, we hope that our modest work will also bring more notable benefit for people, and this list will be replenished with the description of successful ArtLine's development.
