Legends Car Racing is thrilling racing with low maintenance costs. The body of the racing cars is a miniature version of American racing cars from the 1930s and 1940s, inspired by the Nascar cars of the time.
In 1992, Charlotte Motor Speedway officials in the United States noticed a huge need for a new racing car. This need was very simple: an affordable and fast vehicle with a unique design, requiring minimal time and maintenance costs. This happened because the cost of racing cars got out of control and reached unprecedented heights.
The number of racers began to plummet, and at that point between 30% and 40% of race cars in the United States were not competing due to high maintenance costs.
After further research, it was noticed that when the car cost exceeded $ 20,000, the number of participants dropped significantly. And tracks with cars in the price range of 10-15 thousand dollars with low maintenance costs significantly increased the number of participants.
As a result of this research, the U.S. company was formed in January 1992. Legend Cars International, which has embarked on an accelerated research and development program for a new race car that will be affordable, able to race on small tracks and will have low maintenance costs.
It was then, in April 1992, that the first Legend Car was unveiled at Lowe's Motor Speedway (now Charlotte Motor Speedway).
So it was born the the idea to create an exciting and accessible class of racing that anyone can participate in.
